Xavier Weydert originates from Luxembourg. He's an Explorer, Creator and Collector of beautiful things.
His main aspiration is to inspire people to be (more) creative. Creativity is bliss!

Biography:

Since I was a kid I was fascinated by music, especially drums and rhythms. I could never resist any object that looked like it could emit a sound.
Drawing and making music are and have always been the catalyst for my feelings and impressions about this world.

My first real encounter with electronic music was in 2002 when I sneaked into my brothers room after he left the house, to hear that awesome strange music again:
This was the Album 'Music for the Jilted Generation' from The Prodigy.
The fact that it was completely beyond my imagination and understanding of technology how they had made these outer-worldly sounds fueled my interest in electronic music and set the starting point of a long journey of exploration, with no end in sight.

The more I got to know about synthesizers, sequencers and the science of music the more I became fascinated and the more my respect grew for the pionneers, engineers and artists of the different genres and styles.
I started to love everything deep, dark, groovy, spacy and original, regardless of the genre, always in pursuit of the most interesting and innovative sound structures.

My influences range from the classic and modern composers and artists to the Berlin, Paris and New York School, Jazz, Ambient, Experimental, Psychedelic, Jungle, Techno and Hip-Hop music, including ethnic music from all around the world.
