Residing in Calgary, Canada, in just a short few years, Wes has become one of Western Canada’s most sought after progressive trance djs. He’s headlined clubs and events in many cities across Canada, the U.S. and Mexico as well as the world famous island of Ibiza, Spain, and has had the privilege of opening many of Calgary’s biggest club shows, sharing the booth with the likes of Markus Schulz (Calgary’s favorite opener for Markus with four shows in two years), Nick Warren, Jody Wisternoff, Vibrasphere, Max Graham, Laidback Luke, and Infected Mushroom. Beyond the big stages, Wes continues to hold down the longest running progressive residency in Calgary, aptly named Pure.Prog, which is now into its fourth year, while on the web, Wes’s 709Sessions radio show is moving into its third successful year, with monthly broadcasts on Digitally Imported, Dance Radio Global, ETN.fm, Tribalmixes.org and Evolved.fm.

Wes is a true pioneer of the ‘deep trance’ sound - an emotionally inspired fusion of progressive, melodic and trance elements that unites both the beautiful and sublime. His production efforts continue to deliver this same diversity and in doing so he is rapidly being signed to labels such as System Recordings, Jetlag Digital and La Folia Recordings.

Lastly, as a long-time builder of the electronic dance music scene in Canada, Wes is the original founder of area709.com, an organization tied together through its website, critically acclaimed in the industry for its design, functionality and diverse content.
