Bruce Gilbert, guitarist for Wire, once stated that he aimed at turning the guitar from a melodic to a percussive instrument, an idea much appreciated and something I have attempted, on a very hit or miss basis, to do.

More of a listener than a musician, influenced by the harsh noise from a good many post-industrial outfits, from Throbbing Gristle, Zoviet France and beyond, I attempt to curate my own soundscapes and drone-based musique concrète.

Well, does it "work"? Probably not, but I do try and always feel a bit more "zen" during the process.
