Wreck-up cut his teeth on the dance floors of Luton in the year 2000, a night named 'Screwball' at the legendary 'Phoenix Club', playing an eclectic blend of genres, mixed around a centric acid techno pulse.

Wreck-up's most significant residency was in the form of 'Kacchina Sound System'. This predominantly jungle/drum and bass sound system influenced Wreck-up's sound over the years. Expanding on the eclectic style he already played, harder forms of techno would be mixed alongside the junglist sound.

After forging this jungle techno sound on vinyl, Wreck-up decided that recreating the sound within music productions seemed like a logical progression. Wreck-up contributed to the new style of Jungletek with a prototype live set, which was road tested for a few years and consequently improved over time . Around this time Wreck-up travelled to Berlin, Warsaw and Olsztyn to enjoy some dance floor devastation served up in vinyl format.

Wreck-up released a track on Jungletek Movement 6 in 2007, titled 'Shogun'. This release inspired him to go back to full time education to improve production quality and knowledge, which subsequently led to the completion of a degree in Music Technology (BA Honours).

Shortly after graduation, Wreck-up created the Dead Pigeon project to provide a collective title for collaborating artists to release their alternative styles/genres. The project title represents the view of 'anti-pigeonholing'. The original idea of the project was a sound system and club night, this idea may still happen one day, however for now the project is more geared towards music production and potentially a record label without genre specifics.

In recent years Wreck-up has become a resident performer for Ribstep who provide internet radio shows to a global audience, plus regular club events in Luton Town.

Available for DJ and Live Performance bookings, live set comprising of Ableton Live 8 Suite, Akai APC40, Mode Machines xOxbOx (TB-303 clone) and various effect pedals by Boss. Full on Acid Techno, Hard Techno, Jungle, Jungletek, Hardtek and Tribe. Video Preview
