We launch our first ever 'Live To Listen' podcast with one of the best songs ever (no arguments), "You Can't Hide Love", followed by the song that brought the producer Paul White to our attention in the first place (kind of made sense to revisit it after the recent success of his debut album). After that there's an excursion through some of the music that soundtracked our summer, with random bits of silly goodness thrown in for good measure. A period of reflection courtesy of Mount Kimbie and Homecut is rudely shattered by Amanda Blank, who gives way to new music from The Flaming Lips and a dirty classic by Silver Apples. After a future-classic from rising star Andreya Triana it somehow felt right to finish on some Alice Coltrane. Still does.
