Wayne Andrew Pingling (born 6 October 1986), better known by his stage name WORDZ, is an English rapper and song writer.

Wordz was born in Moss Side, Manchester and relocated to South London when he was a toddler.

Wordz was surrounded by a successful music orientated family from a very young age which influenced him to begin a music career of his own. At the age of 14 he started making live tapes and distributing them to his peers, performing at open mic events.
He mainly stood out for his creativity, hard, phenominal wordplay, powerful punchlines and unique voice and flow that left no comparison.

In 2009 he signed a record deal with Complete Opposite Records, and went on to make his presence known in the industry in 2010, when he opened up for Reggae sensation 'Gyptian' at a major event at Oceana, Kingston. In 2010 and 2011, Wordz made special guest appearances on Bournemouths number one commercial radio station 'Fire FM' hosted by Jay Fresh.

Early 2012, he supported and performed at the Kodjo Yenga Educational Trust and Foundation and has recently appeared for a live interview on 'Life FM'. To date, he has continued to cause major traffic over youtube and Facebook, followed by 8,000+ followers on twitter.
