Monome Community Remix Project Tracks submitted for any MCRP.
beautiful
Beautiful was written during iteration nine of the Monome Community Remix Project. In this MCRP, each participating artist contributed two samples to a common pool: one piece of stolen film music, one piece of stolen film dialog. Individual tracks were then created solely from the pool of samples submitted by all artists. Tracks were completed within a short window after receiving the sample package.
To make peace with my OCDaemon, I succeeded in using at least an edited piece of every submitted sample for the last MCRP, version 8. Temporal Merge was the result. Beautiful, however, so ferociously resisted those methods that its source pool ended up relatively slim and minimal. I like it this way. I think I would have damaged it had I tried to shoehorn everything in.

this is such an awesome track... I love the delayed drums and the padish voice. I've listened to it at least 5 times in a row now :)

@01100010b: Thanks Deems! The sample pack is going to be up soon... make one anyway! It's such a great exercise, I've been thinking about going back and making tracks for the ones I have missed, too.
