i'm new to the game of electronic/dubstep music, but going from being in a deathcore band to composing my own music sort of feels seemless. i love the dirty, filthy, and grimey aspects of dubstep. but i also love how beautiful you can make a track just by inputing an uplifting synth, or piano. instead of the creativity/talent of 5 or 6 people bringing down the overall vision you have towards a track, you only have your vision. the vision you want people to see/hear.
