With a passion for house music that spurred from an appreciation of disco and funk, Will Jax knew that one day he would be producing as well. Starting out DJing in a number of pubs / clubs around Adelaide he wasnt satisfied with what he was playing and wanted to try and push house music to the people. It wasnt until he was given a set at a TechPhonics event and being able to play with one of the greatest, James Curd, that he realised that house music was more than just music.
Having played in many of Adelaides premier night spots as well as guest spots interstate, Will Jax is known for his funky / jackin sets of quality underground house. Having a dream of producing house music was something that any house DJ would aspire to and it wasnt long before Will Jax was thinking the same.
With a lot of persistence he has been able to get releases out on numerous labels including Maracuja, Monokini, Union, Greenhouse, Funkfield, HuHu Music, Sly City and Kinjo with many more in the works including upcoming EPs on Sonny Fodera's label Beatdown. Make sure you keep an eye out for Will Jax as there are great things to come.
