About

I spend the majority of my time either listening or trying to find new music and would hope that you might like what I like, or at least some of it. I was introduced to music at a young age by my family who luckily had decent taste in music which provided me with solid music foundations for my aural pleasures. With age my tastes have expanded dramatically from straight up rock to chin strokingly weird electronic music. In short, my tastes are broad and eclectic, although I will always be a rocker at heart! I never joined a band and through younger days of dancing in dark sweaty nightclubs was inspired by a creation of music that didn't have band members or even 'proper instruments'. Electronic music from the likes of Leftfield, Orbital and The Prodigy blew me away and current producers such as Tipper, Rockwell, Instra:mental, Scuba, DBridge, ASC, Shed, Robag Wruhme,Luke Vibert, Marcus Intalex, Calibre etc etc continually excite me by pushing things forward. With the tools and technology available to electronic music producers nowadays there is some incredibly innovative, detailed and exciting music out there if you know where to look. About 8 years ago I purchased some turntables so at least I can play said and other peoples music together in a continuous mix which sometimes sounds great and other times sounds pap. However, the more I practice the less pap it sounds so hopefully I am doing something right. I've had a bash at creating my own tracks with software, but unfortunately they just sound a bit basic and I can't yet transfer the sounds in my head to the computer. Hopefully, like my mixing with age they might get better.
