All the sounds are very nice and clean! Kinda reminds me a bit of Funckarma.
-
@Mr.Opz: thanks! I wanted something reasonably clean and ethereal to fit with the mood.. I think something must have gone wrong with the end bit though... but loops made in reason, then recorded in live, re-arranged, levelled, fx and shit, but the overall looppoint got forgotten before rendering :-(

Great intro, loved it......Your "attempt" has NOT failed sire. It's proper old skool acid in my ears. I would've held down the cut off for a the sake of tension a bit but hey, c'est moi. Grand job. :)
-
@Big Lion Head: thanks blh, i updated this in light of your suggestion
- Big Lion Head on October 04, 2009 11:26
@neateye: I had one of my (many these days) tinitus moments half way through listening again, and the tone this time was a low to mid range one which weirdly was totally in tune/key with the track; sent my head on a squiffy one.
- Big Lion Head on October 04, 2009 11:28
@Big Lion Head: As for the tune; I think what you've done has improved the feel of this mate. Grand work; it's an acid banger methinks. :)

@denizskyriver: ? thx man but explain higher pls ?;-)
- denizskyriver on August 16, 2009 11:03
just a little higher in volume
- The Observer on August 16, 2009 11:05
@denizskyriver: Ok volume I donno bout that sir On my genelecs the kick sounds okay to me ..What you use for monitoring D?
- denizskyriver on August 16, 2009 11:27
@The Observer:8" bx's which are definately not as good as the more expensive genelecs on the mid upper end of the freq spectrum... hopefully you'll proove me wrong, as when it's finished i'll hear it pumping at a fat club system ;D ..all the best!
-
@denizskyriver: well ye know me an loud kicks eheh - I do think though that its gain level suits the type of song it is, I think it places rhytmic emphasis on the bassline.

I've got 2 cats .. this song really requiem really touched me like freak ... why not include some voices of what you remember the most about your friend? Or his name .. something which defines the bound between you two ... Best luck and really the best for your cat...
@wildchild: thx wildchild, I spent 2 days repeating the feelings I have about this little cat, made me all weepy, and tried to translate that to this piece, which in the end felt like I hit a spot for myself... really nice to know I've touched someone else as well... thanks for your kind words, I sincerely appreciate them!
@DisPjutR: the cat (Snoes) now has a permanent spot as cover art
