WIDE Records is a London based Bass label with a global roster of 16 artists.
WIDE Records was founded in 2001, licensing critically acclaimed EPs by Debasser to Novamute and a UK Bass Mix CD by DJ Cutlass Supreme in 2003. Following licensing agreements with GTI Recordings, Input-Output & Seed Records, WIDE Records released its debut digital EP, “The Old Skool EP” by DJ Cutlass Supreme in 2006.
2009 has seen WIDE Records embrace a whole slew of new artists prepared to take the ever expanding UK Bass sound to new levels of low end experimentation and degradation. Check Pirate Soundsystem for starters…
We’ve also been moving outside of our green and pleasant land to meet, greet and embrace the musical deviance of our favourite U.S intellectual ghetto/junglist Murderbot.
