Two Door Cinema Club Remix Compe...
The crux here is that a new version of a widely loved single is going in the album. So the obvious choice was to remix this nostalgic masterpiece in a style which the fan will find accessible and familiar but with a healthy dash of Who Killed JR-ness which at all times respects the tone which one might expect of a TDCC album.
In short I felt it had to be a little indie-meets-JR gem worthy of featuring in an album (as opposed to a DJ set).

Interesting work with the vocoder ! The combination of the videogamish synth and the slap bass just after this bit are really cool

"to which I belong till I die"... hehe, izit hey? Nicely navigated, I like how you've made less of a feature out of the guitar's melodic hook, I personally find it a bit shrill and repetitive! Vocoded indie-ness at its best, well done JR!

@Gramaphone Children: awesome man ... I made the track to fit into the album as opposed to that track at the end that you skip cos it ruins the mood so it took days of balancing but I think it got there in the end

@\\Who Killed JR?: it was in fact meant to conform to the tone one might expect from an album release but the fact that you would drop it on a dancefloor is an added bonus
