About
CE 1998: Zakk and Judd, along with their double cconnssonnanntt letters, join forces. In the dim light of a basement somewhere in Middle America, the two musicians play together for the first time. Their sound is inspired; transcendent. The following day, strange news reports culled from across the globe align the hours of that first inspired jam session with a series of cosmic events: solar flares detected over the Gobi Desert; a 10 point rise in the Bombay Stock Exchange; painless births reported by hundreds of women throughout Eastern Europe. And most surprisingly: the first in a string of communications direct to the duo from The Satellite. And thus, WHAKi was born. Their mission: to channel the Awesome and Infinite Creativity of the Abundant Universe through The Satellite to your open, open ears. Are you listening?
