    Readers of the New York Times may have noticed that the University of Louisville made front page news this week. The lengthy story shed light on the close relationship between ESPN and the university’s football program.

    Though some claim the relationship brings positive exposure to the school, others wonder if being enmeshed with a corporate entity is a good thing, and what impact, if any, the sports program has on the academic side of the university.

    Today on Here and Now, WFPL’s Jonathan Bastian discussed the issues with Steve Eder, one of the story authors.
