A new research project at Fermi-Lab is breaking new ground. The NOvA experiment uses two massive particle detectors that are 500 miles apart to study the properties of neutrinos. Fermi Lab Director Nigel Lockyer says the experiment generates a beam of the particles in Batavia and aims it at a facility in Minnesota. Lockyer tells WDCB's Brian O'Keefe the elusive particles are a mystery.
