Roe v. Wade's uncertain future

Given the current makeup of the Supreme Court, the next president could appoint justices who determine the fate of Roe v. Wade, nearly 40 years after the landmark Supreme Court ruling on abortion. In recent years, many states have imposed restrictions on access to abortion. Lindsey Tanner, AP medical writer, gives an overview on where states currently stand on the issue. And, Elizabeth Nash, state issues manager at the Guttmacher Institute, forecasts what access to abortion might look like in 2013 and beyond.
