We’ll speak with Peter Kahn, perhaps the only full-time spoken word educator in the nation, who’s on leave from Oak Park-River Forest High School in order to bring his curriculum to London’s disadvantaged schools. One of his prized pupils from Holy Family Catholic School in northeast London will also share her work. And Anna Festa, director of programs at Young Chicago Authors, will tell us about plans to bring LTAB to South Africa and elsewhere.
