All my life I've resented being described as "cute". It was dismissive of me as a child, and equally so as an adult. Yes, I am small, and considered pretty. But I am not "cute" in the sense most people use the word. I am a fire-breathing dragon/pit bull who gets things done. As I aged, I was afraid that people would start referring to me as a "cute little old lady". Happy to say that hasn't happened. Somehow, at the age of 70, I have acquired the image I've always wanted and have become a "damn fine-looking woman." A worthy status for my age and size: a damn fine-looking dragon/pitbull.
