About
Music from WayB4 has its roots in a mix of long gone Britannia sounds, to 80's New Wave from 1960's psychedelia which have been deliberately put together by a person who, by his own admission, is only partially informed of the actual events and how they unfolded.
Songs posted here are included in a project which, very aptly, is titled "No Conclusions Drawn, No Actions Taken", which is now available on Reverbnation.
Recently I played around with some piano pieces which I posted here recently, just experiments trying to replicate some musical styles I like.
Feedbacks are welcome, thanks in advance to those stopping by and giving a listen.
Thank you very much for your kind words. I really appreciate them especially because you love Progressive Rock. Your words mean a lot to me and give me a strong support. I've been really lacking enthusiasm in these last few months and I really don't know where I'm going, musically, but it's great to hear from you. Many thanks for listening and, again, thank you for your support.
@Lee >>> Lucas: This section gave me a sense of conclusion, I'm glad you like it.
Maybe a little bit different from the other sections, I'm glad you like it.
@Lee >>> Lucas: Thank you very much.
@Lee >>> Lucas: Thank you very much.
@Lee >>> Lucas: It's a pleasure to have you onboard, my friend.
@Lee >>> Lucas: Yea, it's correct (I think on side 2 of TAAB).
@Lee >>> Lucas: Thank you, I experimented a little bit.
@Lee >>> Lucas: It was a friend of mine who came out with this guitar melody, I harmonized it and, recently, added some variations.
@Lee >>> Lucas: Well, this is just an indicator of how many hundreds of times I listened to that record. I still have a copy of the original vynil with the newspaper-like gatefold sleeve. One of the first records I listened to when I was a child.
@Lee >>> Lucas: Yes, I put down a few influences, at least those I was more conscious of. I don't know Gryphon: I will check them out.
@Lee >>> Lucas: thank you.
@Lee >>> Lucas: Thank you, I'm glad you like it. Most of the music I love features a good organ sound.
I like this stop-and-go. Good job!
That's one of my favourite Genesis songs. I remember it from my childhood, when I actually didn't know Genesis. It's both catchy and psychedelic and a little bit insane (but I like it). Nice rendition of an all time classic!
Great climax!
Sometimes I think, too, that I took a wrong turn, too, some time ago. I like the imagery and the energy in this song.
Nice nocturnal piece. Such a blesses relief.
Beautiful guitar phrases!
That's beautiful, It's almost like hearing the water drops from the melting of the ice, the general feeling is balanced between the reawakening of spring and memories from the past.
@The Subversive: Thank you, that's the sound I've always loved since childhood.
Here's a reason to love synths.
Excellent!
I like this clever use of dissonance.
@Leonow: Thank you very much, it's the Floyd inside of me who sometimes takes over.
That's some inspiration, I like how these ideas flow and I like the general mood. Music is something I rely on, too but it takes me so damn long just to compose anything that I really admire how you captured a moment and fixed it in this waveform. Greetings from a troubled Italy.
A beautiful sense of melody.
Excellent piece!
These strings sound really good, they have a real life attack, which is something that proves hard to find on virtual instruments.
Nice one, I like how the variations on the theme keep a constant motion
