About
Watabou is the amalgamation of extensive electronic programming, punishing physical externalization, subconscious realization, and constructive manipulation of myself and my art.
I'll often post tracks that are currently in progress/exclusive rough demos that aren't on any other site. This is partially because I want everyone to know that I am active beyond what the infrequent updates on facebook would have you believe, and also because I am interested in feedback from the community. I love hearing praise from people who really like my music; it always makes me happy to know people are supportive of what I'm doing, and motivates me to continue doing what I do, because I know I'm not the only one deriving value from my music. Though I also am very interested in criticism, and would like to know what your thoughts are about any perceived flaws in my music (be it in my music, production, stylistic choices, or otherwise).
I'm always interested in performing. Over the past few years I've worked extensively at cultivating a live performance that I'm continually becoming more and more proud of; a multimedial strive toward the transcendental compassion of the moment from the uniqueness of interaction in that given moment.
If you ever want to book me for any event, would like collaborate on an event in the area, are looking to collaborate musically, or simply contact me regarding anything else Watabou-related; send an email to manifestedlatency@gmail.com and I'll respond as quickly and thoroughly as possible!
