i’ll find relief
in lines of powder
in forgotten hours
in my loss of power
i’ll find relief
in sound and pixels
these thorns and thistles
and all life’s gristle
i’ll find relief
in streams of vapor
in the warmth of a stranger
i’ve found your favor
i’ll find relief
in waves and breakers
in the calm of quakers
in these words on paper

Love your music. It is truly a sound of integrity and humility. Atleast thats hat I feel....I would love it if you listened to some of the songs on my channel and perhaps gave me some constructive criticism.

@warrenlain: Classic symptom of being a Radiohead fan ;) I also like weird chords!

@James Bolan: I didn't think you were. But I should try to be humble enough to take the criticism, either way. Definitely a good observation.

@warrenlain: Sure. Wasn't implying any lack of creativity or originality. :)

@James Bolan: Lyrically I favor words that are flexible metaphorically, so although everyone and their mother writes about water, I like to think that I do it in my own way.

@warrenlain: I Just realized that this song shares imagery with Stay. Both are my favorites from your collection. Coincidence?

This is SUCH a good song. This is the sort of song I wish I could write.

@warrenlain: Oh, sorry. English is not my first language. I mean.. the echoes are getting so loud that you can hear less and less of thing you exactly want to hear. Or something like this.

On the contrary, this is where the song really builds to the emotional climax for me. I wish I was as good as you with guitar and song writing, Warren! Keep up the awesome radiohead tutorials, but show your subscribers this piece of brilliance. They'd love it.

..those echoes are brilliant and I wish they would overwhelm it all giving, positively, no satisfaction... like disintegration

@Aleph.Meme: Thank you, I am flattered when people hear a similarity, but it is so nice to be seen as distinct as well!

I was waiting for a radiohead influence of some sort...and there it is...even though the song is completely different/original...
