For immediate release
30th September sees the release of ‘It Looked So Good on me...’ Part 1 Debut EP of one of Scotland’s most talked about new bands – Vukovi
Vukovi 1st burst onto the scene when their first recording “Get Hot and Feel the Butterflies “was aired on Radio 1 only 2 months after they had formed. Their follow up single “Schwagger” also received a great reception and rave reviews in various blogs as well as picking up airplay on Radio 1 and was play listed on Amazing Radio.
Vukovi have gone from strength to strength with countless mentions from various blogs, podcasts and newspapers including write ups in The Metro, The Sun and The Scotsman Under The Radar Column.
They received the status as one of the best live bands on the scene after a series of blistering shows including supporting Futures at Glasgow’s O2 ABC 2 and supporting Fatherson at a sold out King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut as part of the King Tut’s Sailor Jerry Summer Nights festival. At festival season their reputation earned them slots at GoNorth Festival and The Wickerman, where their slot became one of the most talked about sets of the weekend.
Their first Glasgow headline show will be the EP release at Nice n’ Sleazys on September 30th, which sold out in 2 weeks.
To top it all off they have also been invited to do a live Session on BBC Radio One in October.
“It Looked So Good on Me..” is only part 1…. Part 2 will be released on the 9th of January 2012. Both EP’s are linked; a total of 8 tracks.
