Grafisch ontwerp Studio Vruchtvlees zag de rooksignalen, ontving de morse, ontcijferde de symboliek en begreep de vraag om een gloednieuwe mixtape. Voor de nummer negen in de Vruchtvlees Mixtape serie, vroeg Vruchtvlees de Amsterdamse dj en producer FS Green om, met zijn momenteel favoriete tracks, een flamboyante mixtape op te nemen.

FS Green kwam rond 2006 voor het eerst naar buiten met zijn zelf geproduceerde beat tapes. Het duurde niet lang voordat de jonge producer werd omarmd door de meest gerespecteerde namen uit de Nederlandse Hiphop scene. Nu heeft FS zijn eigen concept avond -Frans- in de Jimmy Woo (elke eerste zondag van de maand) en ken je hem van zijn Gotta Go release met Holland In Da Hood’s MC Biggah. Afgelopen Oktober deed FS Green nog een interview en live set op het New Yorkse Eastville Radio en won hij de State Award voor beste DJ twee keer op rij.

FS Green’s Vruchtvlees Mixtape No.9 is een waardige opvolger van zijn voorgangers Bart B More (No.8), Rubix (No.7) en SirOJ (No.6). FS koos twee exclusieves voor op de Mixtape; Clara Hill – Nowhere (FS Green Moombahlove Remix) en Jesse Boykins III – B4 The Night Is Thru (FS Green Remix). Enjoy!

Graphic Design Studio Vruchtvlees saw the smoke signals, received the morse codes, decoded the symbolism and understood the question for a brand new mixtape. For the ninth edition in the Vruchtvlees Mixtape series, they asked the Amsterdam based DJ and producer FS Green to take his current favorite tracks and record a flaming new mixtape.

FS Green came out with his self-produced beat tapes around 2006 for the first time. It was not long before the young producer has been embraced by the most respected names in the Dutch hip hop scene. Now FS has its own concept event -Frans- in the Jimmy Woo (every first Sunday of the month) and you also may know him from his ‘Gotta Go’ release with Holland In Da Hood’s MC Biggah. Last October FS Green did an interview and live set at New York's Eastville Radio and won the State Award for best DJ two times in a row.

FS Green's Vruchtvlees Mixtape No.9 is a worthy successor to its predecessors Bart B More (No.8), Rubix (No.7) and SirOJ (No.6). FS chose two exclusieves for the mixtape; Clara Hill - Nowhere (FS Green Moombahlove Remix) and Jesse Boykins III - B4 The Night Is Thru (FS Green Remix). Enjoy!
