A piece for symphonic strings tuned to cyclic intervals of the golden section multiplied by frequency = 1.618034...
As you are already aware the golden section is the ratio found in the natural geometry of a five-pointed star, comparing the length of lines drawn between the points.
It has the property that the (Goldratio squared) minus Goldratio = 1
    So : Goldratio = half (sqroot(5)+1)
In this simple composition, If the note gets too high then the next tone in the sequence gets played an octave down and the sequence continues in a particular octave.
The golden section interval = 1.618034 is about 6 and (1/3) semitones above the fundamental key and it turns out that the whole pattern of this sequence has 13 times 3 = 39 notes till the tone returns to the first starting point note but ever so slightly out since 1.618033989... times by 39 = 63.103.. aprox. which is nearly 64 and 64 is 2 doubled and doubled again, almost same as the fundamental frequency.
i know that you already know all of this sort of thing anyway...
    thanks for visiting ;)
