Hello, we're the Voltaire Twins.
We live in Perth, Western Australia. We are a brother and sister who make discoish/electroish pop music in our lounge room.
We have been playing music all our lives, but it's just in the last year or so that we've been performing together.
Our songs D.I.L. and The Kate Bush have just started to receive airplay in Australia.
In the last 12 months we've supported or played on bills with such bands as Ladytron, Para One, Soulwax, Chromeo, Yelle, Digitalism, Cicada, Peaches, Neon Neon, Goldfrapp, So So Modern and Dragonette, as well as local acts like The Presets, Van She, The E.L.F, Gameboy/Gamegirl, Sam Sparro, Dukes Of Windsor, Miami Horror, Bang Gang Deejays and Grafton Primary.
We will be releasing something in Australia very soon. Hopefully further abroad too. Until then we can be found online, on Australian radio or in the nearest club.
