"There was a generation that came to the country and the primary thing is like how do I survive, how do i keep my family going? And then the next generation is less stressed about that, and then the next generation after that and then all of a sudden we can take risks. I'm part of that generation that was born in America, has more freedom in terms of not just stressing survival, you can actually think about what to do with my life and I have the opportunity to do that. Plus, we're in a generation where more people are willing to hear different voices.[...]It's not what it could be, but it's still better than it was."

    - Hari Kondabolu, Stand Up Comedian on being an Indian-American in the game

Every Friday on the AMp, we usually get funny men from all over the country to either visit or call to not only get an early bird kick but to also talk about their upcoming ventures. Joined by comedian Will Miles, the AMp hosts Brian Babylon and Molly Adams had Hari Kondabolu on the phone with them. Not only is Hari a stand up comedian but he is also a writer and performer on Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell, who will also be in town for a Lincoln Hall show on Monday.
