@RedRybbon Films: Well there are 12 other songs on this project and we are working on 2 new CDs and will start posting some songs from them soon even though they won't be released officially until next year. "Dolls and Bikers" will be a fun upbeat collection of songs, whereas "Salvation" will explore a lot of darker subjects. "Salvation," the title song chronicles the life of a serial killer from childhood to lethal injection. -Leon

This part shows some interest in the 2-note unison of the guitars. The drum beat is also showing a similar reaction, especially having it so the first snare is hit earlier that percepted. It's a very cool track overall.

Without Melodyne this track and many of the tracks on our vintage CD, would not have been possible. This was originally recorded on 2 - 8 track analog tape recorders sync'd together. We also had a newer digital version that was in a slightly different tempo. After digital conversion, the 2 - 8 track versions were no longer in sync or in tune with each other. Using Logic time stretching, we were able to get both reels and the new take in sync. Then we used Melodyne on all instruments except for the drums to get everything in tune with each other again. We also used Melodyne to tweak the long virtuoso double guitar solo, correcting pitch as necessary and also bumping the odd note ahead or behind in time for tightness. Overall we got a clean, tight production that sounds really in tune. Melodyne is an incredible piece of technology and we use it all the time. Now rather than having to redo a great guitar solo or edit in a splice, we can simply fix the note in Melodyne. It speeds up and simplifies the production work flow process.
