Part III of a IV part instrumental
@vkimono: thanks again Brock, that last comment is especially supportive and awesome. I've put all of these songs to bed now but have this idea in mind to make them live one day with real drums etc... Hey I'll be sure to stop by your cloud soon!
@brockatkinson: oooh I'm glad SOMEBODY noticed it. Yes it's harmonics. I sampled these synths back from a late night stoner recording I did back in 2000 using Fruity Loops. The synth loops was the only thing I preserved and built all of the Perigee songs around. The harmonic is what got me hooked as well, that 70's rotating leslie speaker style...
@brockatkinson: thanks for all your comments , very constructive. Not sure if you listened to the set version of all these ... I feel kinda the impact of the whole track is lost with the way SoundCloud won't support seamless tracks. When I asked them as a feature request they just said "combine and upload one track".... which I don't feel like doing ..
This really has the chance to build up to be an incredibly epic song, but it finished way too early. I feel like you could double the length of this song and still keep it interesting, by simply continuing to add layers on top of it. Man this song is really incredible.
I really like this synth (is there a second one or is that just its harmonics?) except I think it needs to build up more (either in terms of volume or tempo).
