Virgil Enzinger (Salzburg, Austria) became part of "Future Classics Publishing" in Frankfurt and released his first records on Neuton's in-house label Tritone and other labels in 2003. Besides his very clear vision and expectation of what he wants to produce on the creative side, he was also trying to improve the technical aspect of his productions. Shortly after, Virgil performed live at Tresor Berlin for the first time.

In 2005 he released “Personal Enemy" on Eric Sneo's label “Masters of Disaster”. After this EP (incl. Alex Bau Remix) Eric wanted Virgil to release another EP on Beatdisaster - this time together with Basic Implant. Virgil teamed up with Eric Sneo producing "Dynamic Flow" EP (Patterns, Belgium) in 2006. Continued support from Chris Liebing has positively influenced the musical direction in which Virgil was progressing at that time.

2006 also saw the release of “Move Beyond” on CL-Recordings and a live-show at U60311 in Frankfurt together with Chris Liebing and Speedy J. In 2007 Virgil released his “Essence” EP on Brian Sanhaji’s label Enable Recordings.

2008 was by far the most productive year in Virgil’s already busy career. Chicago based producer Submerge 101 offered Virgil to release the track “Monochrome” on his US label Impact Mechanics. It was at this time when Virgil also got to know DJ Xavier Morel living in Tokyo, Japan. Xavier immediately realized Virgil’s outstanding production talent for electronic music and offered him a cooperation to produce an album. It would take Virgil almost 1 year to finally finish 13 massive tracks for his first album, which had developed into the VX Project.

Not only Virgil had to work hard on the production of the “VX – Fiction” album but even more requests for remixes were pouring in 2009. Bas Mooy’s “Like a Virgin” and a remix for the label Naked Lunch were the most notable at that time. Things were in motion now and Virgil’s connection and talent led him to cooperate with The Advent for the first time and Eric Sneo again. The following release on Kombination Research was one of his best and most brilliant tracks ever, titled “Real State of Things”. This release was presented shortly after by Dave Clarke in his “White Noise” Radio Show and cemented Virgil’s ever growing success as a state-of-the-art producer. June 2009 saw the release of his “Liftoff” remix for Brian Sanhaji on CL-Recordings. This track was a true “liftoff” not only for Virgil but as well for the crowds and is part of the official “Nature One 2009” compilation.

The upcoming double-album “VX – Fiction” (Nachtstrom Schallplatten) scheduled for release in October 2009 can definitely be seen as the true techno-highlight of this year. Artists like Lars Klein, Eric Sneo and Alex Bau have already confirmed remixes for “VX – Fiction”. With great anticipation and respect we all await Virgil’s musical creations to be experienced for the first time in an amazing set of 13 full-length tracks.
