What is the first thing that crosses your mind when viewing a black lace? Is it only the beauty and the material sense that intrigue you? Or maybe some deeper thoughts and senses that "thrust" your brain? One thing is for sure: the way we all feel when time comes for a new, elegant "Black Lace" album. It is the love for unearthing and editing some real disco and funky gems of the past that make "Los Grandes" releases unique! "Black Lace Vol 5" is here and features 8 fresh and silky edits, covering your disco/soul/funky appetite. Starting with Dynamicron's "Yes It Is", which is a slow-burning funky "flame" and Brevil's really "Sexy" track, but "It's Not Over" yet, as Jay Ru believes. VinylAddicted picks one of the hottest tracks of early 90s, covering Jimmy Nail's "Ain't No Doubt" with additional loops, beatline and some clever vocal chops, reaching a dj-friendly and extended result. The funky project keeps on with "PCJ Project", while bpms are raised with DJ Butcher and Nicko Marinelis' tracks, to close with the nice synth-disco vibes of "Jerusalem".
