This is actually the fourth and latest remix I've finished this autumn, but it got scheduled and promoed soon after the release of my Airwave - Punjabi Child Remix
I've known Tempo Giusto before he got his first tracks signed and long before he launched Echelon Records with his brother and frequent collabrator Ima'gin.
I got couple of different original tracks from Tuomas, and immediately fell in love with melodies of Running Out of Time. I was so blown away that I didn't even notice the original had nineties PVD-alike tempo of 142 bpm.
I decided to knock out 10 beats per minute, do a chunky Cressida style beats and basses, and focus on dancefloor factor without losing the beautiful theme of the original.
This is the sound I've been trying to reach ever since I started producing and now I'm finally getting there. Expect to hear active bassline like this one in my future releases and remixes.
I'm remade the guitarish sound Tempo Giusto is using in his original track to get full possibility to automate the sound to my needs. I gave the guitar sound ridiculously long delay to tease with the lead melody presented at the one and only breakdown.
In the breakdown I bring in fat and chunky breakbeats and let the melody to grow into it's full potential, building up tension before mashing it down with huge reverb.
