House, Deep Techno, Electronica sounds...

VieL (Vasilis Lampaounas) was born in Pyrgos (Greece) in 1979. In the beginning of 1994 he starts playing music on a local radio station in his hometown. Exploring several sounds such as acid jazz, soul, ambient, techno and drum' n' bass he quickly found his love for electronic music. After that he starts buying vinyls and takes part to many events as a dj. In 1997 he moved to Athens to study Public Administration and Economics at Panteion University, playing in parallel as a resident dj in a cafe-bar near his University as well as to events and parties as guest dj. From 2000 to 2002 he was resident dj to the "legendary" FLORAL music bar amusing his fans with the sounds of soulful, deep-jazzy and tech house beside the best djs and producers. After that VieL had the opportunity to move in several towns arround Greece keeping the quality of electronic music. From 2008 to 2011 he was member of 'Metrics' project - a project was based on successful cooperations with many great guests such as Lostra, K.atou, Mr.Statik e.t.c making great gigs in high levels in the most cool places in Athens. In 2009 he starts his first steps in creating electronic music and based on his mood he processes with his favourite music genres: House, Electronica and Deep Techno sounds. 2011 is the year that he participates in broadcasts on radio stations (Elektrik Dreams Music Radio/ Label, Westradio e.t.c.) mixing Deep-Tech house & Techno sounds.VieL is still playing music as guest dj, mixing on the radio and preparing new sounds (e.p & remixes) in his studio as well...Guest Dj: IvI, Floral, Wunderbar, Skull bar (Exarhia, Athens), Loop (Thisio, Athens), Soul, Astron, Joy Art Bar (Psiri, Athens), Buzz, Almodobar, Mercury, Mamacas (Gazi, Athens), Story (Syntagma, Athens), R-bar, Fuego Bar (Pyrgos) e.t.c.
