"One Of These Days" is my first album containing songs inspired by many different styles within the reggae genre. Songs like "Lord Knows" and "Statements & Questions" are directly inspired by early British reggae-groups like Aswad and Steel Pulse et cetera. "Father Of Creation" is inspired by new-roots heros like Luciano and Bushman. The whole album is inspired by the Virgin Island reggae movement, with bands and artists like Midnite, Dezaire, Tuff Lion and so on. A big inspiration for this production is the early 80s dancehall from labels like Greensleeves and studios like Channel One. Ever since I started to play reggae music Scientist has been a great inspiration.
The whole 10-track album is produced, played, mixed and written in exception of the guitar solo on "Your Love Is Amazing", which is played by Joakim Örneblad, and the trombone solo on "It's The Confusion", which is played by Axel Olesund, and the song "Woman's Got Soul", which is written by Curtis Mayfield for the Impressions. The album cover is made by Olof Göransson.
