Victor infiltrated clubland as a 13 year old schoolboy, distributing flyers for venues outside Parisian schools. Two years later, he wrote a cheeky letter to Guetta Events asking for a job. His boldness paid off and he found his first employment. Victor took the plunge into the world of electro, and the sharp young man quickly learned the ropes. He repeated the feat a year later, approaching Lionel, André and the team at the Baron, who straight away brought him on board. There, he got to know some of the most influential people on the French club scene.
Driven by his passion for electro and clubbing, Victor pioneered « We are Underage », an original concept for 15 to 18 year olds. His idea was to set up at Parisian venues like the Baron and Paris Paris between 6pm and midnight, playing high quality music (Kavinsky, Justice, Busy P, Birdy Nam Nam, Breakbot and others) for audiences just a little too young to get into the clubs. The media and brands quickly picked up on the movement. Victor played event after event, eventually exporting his concept to Sao Paolo and Tokyo. He then went behind the decks himself, as the Baron’s resident DJ. His eclectic sets mixed Phoenix with Major Lazer or Skream and saw him invited to some of clubland’s biggest international venues from Los Angeles to Singapore, via London, Barcelona and Cannes, where he has been a regular feature at the Film Festival since the age of 16.
In 2011, Victor became an assistant to Pedro Winter’s little team at the prestigious Ed Banger Records label. That marked the start of a heady adventure, with album releases, tours and festivals where he accompanied the label’s artists at every opportunity. He went as far afield as Miami to organize one of the only French festival events at the Winter Music Conference (the annual meeting of international DJs) despite still technically being a minor in the United States.
Today, he is proud to be releasing his first EP « Heavy Curves », and finally having the chance to show off his own sound. A fan of all kinds of music, it took him many hours (even months) of work to successfully blend a cocktail of his many influences. He has taken the daring step of mixing Trap beats with the house synth sound that’s become mainstream in his eyes. A great mix for the summer, that’s certain to get the dancefloors jumping wherever his non-stop tour takes him.
