Venustribes are a unique blend in the midst of electronic and alternative music. Adding world beat and jazz this project creates a synthesis of genres sounding unlike anything else.
Venustribes were founded by Jose DeChamp, an eclectic singer-songwriter and music producer based in London, UK.
First album ‘Siddhartha’ was released in 2011. The concept album was inspired by Hermann Hesse’s mystical novel ‘Siddhartha’, describing a traveller’s inner journey of remembrance. Soulful vocals, ethereal chords and tribal drums take onto a journey of jazz-fusion and cinematic sounds. Siddhartha-Song "Red Gaia" was a finalist in the Eco Arts Awards 2013.
Jose De Champ: "Human beings as part of an amazingly beautiful Gaia System ... Whilst writing album ‘Siddhartha’ Chief Raoni’s cry went into this music; as did the cries of many from the abundant tribes of Gaia who remember All-connectedness."
VenusTRIBES now released second album '7 Colours' – an alternative album with references to American roots and Americana aspects with orchestral, cinematic arrangements.
