David Goroztieta, better known as Vehemence, started formal musical training at the age of 12, and within 2 weeks of practice, he was picked up by one of the largest Theater acts In Canada, playing at the prestigious Vancouver Opera.
Vehemence has established himself as a local DJ juggernaut, winning several competitions--the most recent, Ceili's DJ contest, beating out other larger names as Best DJ--and playing sold out shows, from residencies at small lounges, to large venues, to massive outdoor events.He has opened for artists such as Dash Berlin, Felguk, Hirshee, Starkillers and will be featuring some collabs with national and international artists like Brent Sadowick.
After dominating the local scene for several years, Vehemence is looking to expand his sound past the Vancouver rain, and across the globe with his endeavor as a quality producer.Within less than 3 months of producing, Vehemence has finished a debut EP he will be releasing on his own label "Radio Toxic Records," which will be hitting Beatport in late February.
With a new year, and new production, Vehemence is looking to develop himself as a demanding and entertaining artist, donning the Mask and creating a new identity as an enigmatic, and powerful musical force.
