There are some really emotive keys present in the mix, that repeat every so often – making them more powerful and beautiful than first thought – definitely enthralling vibe. I’m really feeling the rain and water drop samples in the intro, with Charlotte’s beautiful voice suddenly fading in. If you listen closely, you hear some crackly samples implemented as well, coming in at different intervals – well positioned! There are two nice effects that have been added to her voice: a proper reverb and a delay, which is present especially at the refrains within the track, adding nice atmosphere to the track.
The drop is beautiful, the low-end is very deep and comes in and disappears as her voice appears, giving the track some extra flow! The percussion is on point, sounding clear and well balanced, and has some nice garage influences in it too. Vanity uses some great samples to convey a smooth vibe – giving Charlotte’s voice some space.
The break is great, a nice filter is used to fade all the elements in the mix before the second drop hits! It’s great how lightning strikes through the mix, her voice coming back in is simply amazing. The second drop hits smooth, listen to her voice – she’s trying to speak!
Vanity is definitely showing his more emotional side with ‘Shelter’. This one is a beauty. Not forgetting Charlotte Rawling’s voice either – it is beautiful as well!"
This free download from Vanity (UK) is on a bit more of a chill tip than the recent uploads on FKOF - but it's no wonder had support from Radio One. This one's amazing! Can't fault Charlotte's voice either. This one's definitely a 320mp3 I recommend grabbing.

lovely drop n very deep sounding track, never disappears the feel on it... grt use of sample n transitions are perfect with that piano intro with vocals!
