About

**Blah**I'm interested in writing for anything and anyone that reinforces my musical ideas. Recently, I've been preoccupied with the connection between creativity and everyday activity - everyday flaws, fears, and passions, and how these can translate into something musically meaningful. I'm interested in musical ideas that can be realised through a wider community, whether orally, or through non-conventional notation. I'm also interested in a musical hauntology; particularly how my own musical experiences play a principal role in my memory of the past.

Abandoning notions of becoming a pianist, I started composing seriously around 2006. I've been very lucky to work with peers, teachers, and musicians at various festivals and residencies. I've also worked with artists in other disciplines through film, theatre, and soundart.

This year, I'm working on pieces for clarinettist, Paul Roe, and vocal group, Soundset. At the moment I'm working towards a PhD in Composition at Princeton University.**Blah**
