OK so when I first started listening to electronic music, back in the early 90s, long tracks seemed to be the the norm. Acts like Underworld, LFO, Orbital and the Drum Club regularly delivered epic tracks that combined ambient sounds with techno and electronica, tracks that placed the emphasis on taking the listener for a ride, gradually letting the tracks unfold, rather than quick builds and drops. Now don't get me wrong, I love a good drop as much as the next raver, but every now and again it's nice just to take it down a bit and let a track evolve more gradually. So that was my thinking behind this new single.
I've always wanted to put together a long track and although this was was a real labour of love with a lot false starts and a crazy amount of studio hours spent on it but it was fun to do. A track like this would probably be seen as commercial suicide normally but fuck it, I'm giving it away so it doesn't count. Anyway it's good to mix things up every now and again.
So there you go, Vision In Leather. If you like the sounds then download away, no requests for emails, no requests for likes, just the music. Also if you want the WAV then you can it get here...
