About

After several years living in India and a nine year break from music production, Vacious returned to the studio in 2011 inspired by the idea of mixing samples from classical Indian music with bass driven electronica.
The first track to emerge was a deep, epic piece of Drum & Bass entitled “Nine Years” that received multiple plays on BBC Radio 1 and was used by Nihal to open his Drum & Bass set at the NH7 festival in India.
Vacious followed on from “Nine Years” with several tracks which also received airplay on BBC Radio 1 & Radio 1Xtra, BBC Asian Network & EVR Radio (New York) - During this time he has DJ'd at events in India, Holland & Ireland.
His debut release, a deep, spiritual piece of drum and bass titled "Hyperbolic" released on Nasha Records in December 2012 and he is currently working on the final stages of a four track EP.
