This track is about the sea, specifically falling in love.

    Following Friend

I couldn't sleep so I mediated and my mind drifted over!
    I saw a vision.
Filled with vibrant colors and friendly sea monsters.
I was there saw it all, best time of day in this trance was nightfall.
Walking on water, observing the shadow gliding underneath me.
Please wish me luck as I gaze down below, observing the shadow underneath my glow.
I'd like to ask my following friend.

    Where have you been?

I've seen you before, standing near my bedroom door.
Silently watching ever so slightly slipping away just to come back politely.
I've seen you with those big white eyes staring intently quite the sight!
You'd scare me every evening. Impaired. I'd run past you down the stairs.

As frightened as a little boy could be, I didn't go to my parents.
    Laughably as that may seem.

I remember crying than finally screaming no more.
Marching back up the stairs to greet you again.

There you was this time standing across my bed.
Teeth white as snow. Smiling, as if to say hello!

I bolted into bed weeping underneath the sheets in despair.
I knew you'd be there all night you didn't care.

It's been a long since I've seen you following friend.
    Where have you been?
I'm all grown up now. Things have changed but your sure the same.

My fear of you isn't gone. It's still here.
In spite of this I finally know WHO you are and WHAT you are.
Your ME and this is my DREAM.
I've been looking for you all of my life and you have been following me.
