Commonly known as "Dj Ash", Ashe Jhungbathur, has been passionately mixing and remixing music from the late 90's, deejaying at private functions for family and close friends. As his love for music grew, so too did his hunger for knowledge. In 2008, he attended a Dj school being mentored under the likes of Dj Funky G. Here , He underwent the basic fundamentals of deejaying on both turntables and cd players, learning how to mix house music.

In the latter part of 2008, Ashe then began to shadow, well known Dj Dre, who then taught him the cornerstone of RnB and Hip Hop and assisted him further in the career path as a Dj.

Dj Ash has played in various clubs such as The Mansion(Ex Tilt), Sucasa, Paris ,Cape 2 Cairo, VaccaMata Suncoast & PMB, XS, Skyybar, Origin, Cube, The Bellagio, La Vida, Plush Ultra Lounge,Czar, Boulevard, Vogue(Umgeni Rd), Empyre,

He has also played amongst South Africa's most recognized radio personalities and Djs such as Gareth Cliff, Deon Govender, Trevor Williams, Dj Fresh, Euphonik, Roger Goode, Lady Lea, Dino Bravo, Milkshake, Jazzy Diadora, Crazy White Boy and Ready D.

Dj Ash is a highly skilled, professional and technically competent DJ. He plays of vinyl, cd, Serato and Traktor and has now mastered the art of scratching into his sets.

Ashe knows no boundaries when it comes to his love and passion for music.... There's just no stopping this guy on his sets as he continues to learn new styles of music.

This is just the beginning of whats going to be a "rocking" journey.
