My secondary school music teacher, with retirement approaching and a professional lifetime of being ignored by kids who didn't like classical music anyway, unwittingly inspired me to teach myself.

Thankfully, the profession won't miss what it doesn't need and this music "late-comer" contrives to produce a semblance of music from digital sketches and "accidents" until the inspiration and money dwindles.

As the name suggests, I'm playing with toys and convincingly adept at being mechanical about it. I remain hopeful that before faculties fade, I may create a melody I like - or maybe a bass line.

In any event, I will endeavour to make the best mistakes possible.
