About

I'm working under the band name Moonshine Rebels as I am hoping to work with various other people to gig and record the stuff I am pre-viewing here. I've been around since before dust was invented and played more gigs than I care to remember. I'm so old I remember when George Borowski was a kid! I've played in Rock Bands, Blues Bands, Country Bands, Folk Bands and Bands who couldn't decide what they were. From Lands End to John O'Groats, over the water to France and Ireland. Big gigs, small gigs, festivals, ceilidhs weddings, birthdays if there's money and booze in it I will do it and have done it, cos I'm a professional musician who'll sup anything smoke anything take anything eat everything f@!$k anything and fight anybody as long as there's somebody around to sort it all out before I get hurt.

I play Guitar, Fiddle, Mandolin, Bass and shit like that.

I've been nearly famous a couple of times. Done TV and Radio and now I'm sat in my bedroom typing with one finger in the forlorn hope that somebody will listen to my songs and make me a shed load of money. I need to buy enough booze to drown in, so I can die before I get old. Maybe that should be older.

Anyway this is my stuff I'm playing all the instruments or have written the parts using key editor and my computer's playing it for me. You can tell which is which cos the computer doesn't make mistakes. I get maudling and philosophical when I'm drunk and writing songs.

I like all sorts of music, getting hammered and birds who are under half my age and don't mither.

I would like to thank all those people who have shared the craic and tunes with me over the years. Without them life would not have been so rich

Cheers, enjoy the stuff and leave a note of what you think.
