Established in 2009, the label is run by MarkeM and business partner Impression, both of whom have been fully emerged in the Drum&Bass scene since the time of the genre’s inception. Since the beginning, Urban Chemistry Recordings has been motivated on discovering and developing some of the newest and freshest names in production. The label continues on evolving a unique and cutting edge sound. With a new office open in Los Angeles in 2012, Urban Chemistry is constantly growing and developing year after year. The label continues with its successful weekly radio broadcast on www.bassdrive.com, able to consistently showcase new music and artists from around the world, and has produced numerous successful events, including a showcase at the Winter Music Conference in Miami.
