In 2002, DJ Dex left East Los Angeles and journeyed to Detroit to study techno theory with Underground Resistance. As part of the UR crew he has refined his production skills on releases such as "Transition", "Return of The Dragons", "Ma Ya Ya", "Quetzal", "Babylon's Gifts" and contributed his own original productions on Interstellar Fugitives 2, Electronic Warfare 2.0 and his very own Nomadico EP. His remix credits include "Sketches of NYC" for New York's Nublu Orchestra and "Get Down" for Holland's Martyn.
Since 2005, Dex has been based in Brooklyn, NY and kept close ties with UR headquarters in Detroit. He's helped bring UR to NYC's best music venues including The Bunker, Club LOVE, NuBlu, APT, "The Beach Party", "Warm Up 2008" at PS1 and the occasional loft party.
