    Sounds like the THX sound at the beginning of a movie, but in a different key!

    Exciting stuff! Please make more sounds downloadable - it would be great to make up a track using these sounds.

    I'd like to be able to use a high-resolution (at least 16bit 44.1kHz, preferably 24bit) copy of the results of this research as well. Would it be possible to post longer, higher quality samples somewhere on the web if they don't exist already?

    does the decay really cut off here, or is this a short sample of a much larger event?

    It sounds very close to first chords of the "The Final Countdown" song of Europe group. Coincidence?

    "Where were you...When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?"
    One of the questions God put to Job in the 38th chapter of the the Book of Job.

    Psalm 138:3 Praise him, sun and moon, praise him, all you shining stars.

    What beautiful sounds! So is light sound at higher frequencies and somehow converted through magnetic pulse waves? Or is this the sound of the magnetic waves rubbing up against our atmosphere?

    I second that request for an email of any higher resolution sound files - or location to them - to my physioprotease at yahoo. Thanks!

    From Shakespeare's Merchant of Venice:

    Look how the floor of heaven
    Is thick inlaid with patines of bright gold:
    There's not the smallest orb that thou behold'st
    But in his motion like an angel sings
    Still quiring to the young-eyed cherubins;
    Such harmony is in immortal souls;
    But whilst this muddy vesture of decay
    Doth grossly close it in, we cannot hear it.

    I wonder what the Bard would think of this....
