After spending six years in the dirty south of Aotearoa perfecting his craft, Undertow has found his sound. After years of digging through the crates, as well as in front of the decks observing the physical impact of tunes on rammed floors have driven his sound to a point none can test. Flexible bass maneuvers born out of tense percussion lines, melancholic vocals rising over near-disappearing horn lines, and a resulting presence that destroys upon impact.

Undertow dubplates get consistent spin from top-quality selectors across New Zealand and the world. With the release of his debut EP forthcoming on his label Blambox, and Optimus Gryme's remix of Undertow's tune 'Infinity', these tracks are set to take over the stereos of everyone else as well.

As well as creating his own unique sound, Ollie has hosted more international and national DJs and performed more shows than you've had hot dinners. His sets move beyond tired genre tags, creating something which is quintessentially of the moment, and taking all present on a journey.
