Little Sparrow, also known as Katie Ware, played in various bands in and around the south of England before upping sticks and moving to Manchester where she joined the remnants of rock band Marion. Having taken a little time out, 2010 saw Katie spread her wings and return as ‘Little Sparrow’.
One of her tracks ‘The Hunted’ was then included on the Bear Family Records 35th Anniversary compilation. This then lead onto her finding a new musical family, which is now her current line-up and what a family it is!

In a line-up which now includes cello, violin, percussion, and guitars, her new sound is a mix of acoustic folk and an abundance of harmonies!
